Another example of how versatile shutters can be – as part of a full restoration project to bring their Georgian home back to its former glory, our client’s wanted something that really enhanced the Georgian period and style of their home. These solid, full height shutters do exactly that. As well as the inside, they have really transformed the look of the house from the outside and are sympathetic with the rest of the restoration. They also provide a good degree of privacy and blackout for the bedrooms.

This also shows how well the shutters suit the style of the sash window. Being naturally tall in height they lend themselves perfectly to having a tier on tier configuration, where the bottom half of the window is covered by the shutters, which is the part of the window that requires the most privacy.
